Back on a winning streak finally, only gave up 17 shots, and had 21 in the 2nd alone.

Bishop has a respectable game, but we get shut out by the Coilers.
I hang my head in deep shame.

We scored a PP goal! Yayyy!

Can't get anything going again. I can't tell if the sim wants me to keep going or to blow it up. Evander is 3 days away after sitting on the sidelines for the last two months. Maybe that will shake this team out of its mediocrity.

Also, Ryan Callahan is terrible.

The comment wasn't that Callahan was terrible it was that at 4.66 for 3 years it's very likely an anchor of a contract next year for a guy that has played 18 games and has 4 points this year, especially given the Islanders roster situation. I made a quick spreadsheet (took 10 minutes) of what the cap situation will be this off season:

That's $99 million in salary with a $75 million cap and still 1 to many contracts to be at 25 players. It will be interesting to see if it can be managed, lucky for you all your re-signings are RFA and you don't need the cap to re-sign them or it would be even more difficult.

could be a fun summer project though if you're not attached to the players.

Having a bunch of RFA's getting raises is certainly a good problem to have, I'm just saying roster/cap for coming years is something to be considered.
