A. They are both examples of financial doping.

B. Congratulations. If PSG take as long as La Liga did to end this unfair advantage, they'll stop getting the Qatari government to bankroll their player purchases in a decade or two.

Hey, if you want to equate those two things as equal, have at it.

They're clearly not.

As for the second. Ok.

I see that its very 'Edmonton' but at least seeing as Romania was effectively a USSR satellite state they at least have an excuse.

Steaua was a regular in the CL in the late 90s and early to mid 2000s if memory serves. Romania may have even had an automatic entry to the group stage in those years.

There is a severe lack of dusters in that picture for that era. Totally forgot they won it in 86

That should be a good matchup, they were quite a good side last season.

Sounds like Lallana will be out to start the season as well. That's a big blow.

Apparently Neymar cannot play against Amiens today because La Liga will not send the transfer certificate.

Thats what I mean, normally you take 4th and have to go through the playoff round to get into the CL and its a formality, you're usually playing some 4th rate team from some former Soviet Satellite State and bam, you're in!

Thats not Hoffenheim, they're not going to be an easy out, they're a good team.

Dortmund just taking the game to Bayern, up 2-1.

I'm so done with Vidal, when the going gets tough he gets frustrated and whiny

A big reason why I'm glad they didnt buy Sanchez, the two of them together at the Confederations Cup, its like whining is institutional in Colombia.

Bayern escapes with a win on penalties. Bayern's midfield got bossed by Dortmund. I'd consider Kimmich in the middle to provide some energy and fearlessness
