looks like Vincent Kompany is having a new buddy in the physioroom soon, as Manchester City are about to complete a loan for Holger Badstuber.

Imminent Manchester City signing Holger Badstuber will play in central defence, in front of Claudio Badkeeper. #mcfc

£3m for Snodgrass is pretty insulting. Whenever I've seen Hull play he's looked pretty good. Certainly worth at least £10m in this era.

definitely insulting when you consider that Hull paid even more than that for Snodgrass two years ago and he's scored 7 goals this season for the worst team in the league. I don't know if the people in charge of West Ham are constantly hammered (no pun intended) or just extremely incompetent, but they are an absolute gong show right now.

And what idiot thought they were finishing 5th this year? God I cannot believe I made that prediction in hindsight. Absolute trainwreck right now.

If you're watching the FA Cup match right now between them and City you can see evidence of that train wreck. Silva just got the ball at the top of the 6yd box and had time to stop it and decide where to shoot. 3-0 in the 44th minute and its not close.

All jokes at City's expense aside, I really hope it goes well for Badstuber.
I dont know what it is but I really like Badstuber and I sort of empathize with his horrible injury history, but theres a reason Bayern have kept him around, hes apparently a really great teammate and, when healthy, he is an excellent player.
But hes also the guy who can twist an ankle sitting on the substitute's bench.

what the hell is West Ham doing with those bids
Snodgrass has been Hull's best player, that's worse than offering 6m for JD
that's the kind of thing that ruins an entire negotiation if Football Manager has taught me anything

Paddy Power (the betting company) actually has a pretty amusing twitter account. Of note: What a player Sergio Aguero is. The West Ham hierarchy are finalising an offer for him as we speak. Andy Carroll plus £200,000.
I don't know how to embed that here, but that's hilarious!

weren't they the asshats who placed a guy in a grim reaper outfit behind Moyes at a game once and also erected a Moyes statue in front of Anfield? I hate betting companies in general, but those classless "funny" idiots are in a class of their own. They can go pound sand.

I'm with you here, I hope he can stay healthy. Sucks when promising careers go to waste like that. But man, going to a physical league like the PL and playing there under a guy like Pep (whose teams have a horrible injury record for a reason) doesn't seem like a smart move for a guy who makes Phil Jones look durable.
Plus he's now in some elite company, playing for 2 of the 3 teams I hate the most. Robben, Boateng, Alonso, Kroos and surely a couple of others I can't think of right now have done it before him ... I wonder who's going to be the first player to complete my personal asshat trifecta.

Millwall are beating Bournemouth.
That isn't soothing West Ham supporters.

...and Preston NE should probably be up 3-0 vs. Arsenal!
It's only 1-0, but Arsenal are lucky.

...And they could have easily been up 4-0 at the half. Was rooting hard for them to hold on to the draw.

The relegation-threatened Yorkshiremen rejected their £3million bid, so the Hammers hope £2m plus striker Ashley Fletcher will get them Snodgrass.

I like Fletcher. He's dynamic, and he creates scoring chances, which is something that can't be said of the rest of the club. However, he's been playing from the bench all season long. Ugh.

If I were Hull, I'd respond with a £9m bid for Payet. After it fails, I'd follow it up with a £7m + Shaun Maloney offer.

I actually would as well. I think that it looks like a fun time, and the other park I really want to go to is Selhurst. I know....it's as ghetto as can be, but it would be fun to sing those same three songs all match!
Don't know if anyone is too interested, but the draw for the 4th round of FA Cup was today. Not much in the way of big matches, but if there is an upset or two that might be fun for supporters of other clubs:
Chelsea v. Brentford
Spurs v. Wycombe
Derby County v. Leicester
Plymouth/Liverpool v. Wolverhampton
Oxford United v. Newcastle/Birmingham City
Wimbledon/Sutton v. Leeds United
Southampton/Norwich v. Woolwich
Lincoln City/Ipswich Town v. Brighton & Hove Albion
Man U v. Wigan
Millwall v. Watford
Rochdale v. Huddersfield Town
Burnley/Sunderland v. Fleetwood Town/Bristol City
Blackburn v. Barnsley/Blackpool
Fulham v. Hull City
Middlesbrough v. Accrington Stanley
Palace/Bolton v. Man City
Good draw for Spurs in that it should let the kids play and they should advance. I guess Wycombe has been on a tear, but they're still a League Two squad.

Morgan Schneiderlin is about to be sold to Everton for £22m (~€25m), according to the Telegraph. Really good piece of business for both clubs IMO - United barely take a financial hit (they paid £24m in 2015) for a player that Jose doesn't fancy, and Everton get a really, really, really good midfielder. I have no doubt he'll flourish there, it's too bad that it didn't work at United.
