That looks pretty stunning visually.. and seems to have a lot of yelling. I'm interested!

i hate to say it but most times i break down and check out some movie i'm not TOTALLY into (peer pressure, boredom, too much cash [that's a rare one]), i end up wanting to see the previewed movie WAY more.
the internet has taken the sting out a bit, as i typically see the previews before they're on the big screen.
the first memory of this, i believe, was the preview for 'stargate', shown before 'the specialist'.
both movies were big disappointments, but sitting through that super-cliche while thinking of the ancient-egyptian stuff in a sci-fi production...

I love watching them at home, not so much at the theater. I'll stomach 1 or 2, but anymore and it gets stupid, then they hit you with the commercials to take it right over the top.

That does look awesome. I've been victimized by cool trailers before (HULK) but that looks like a cool movie.
A word of advice though -- don't go to the "Production Log" and look at how they are making the movie. Its like my favorite stripper (Sheena) showing me a video of her boob job and then giving me a lapdance; some of the magic is just gone, and I need a couple more scotches to get it back.

wow.
the spartans were... special. i remember reading once how they would respond to diplomatic communications with one word answers, like 'if' being 'as if', stuff like that.
haven't seen the old kirk douglas movie, but i'm thinking this really isn't a remake, which is good.

I love movie previews. The 'guy' that does the movie preview 'voice' is a VERY rich man. I saw a show on him, very interesting.

The Departed comes out tomorrow (Oct.5/06). Very good looking movie.

It kind of looks like "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" meets "Girls Gone Wild: Asian Kung-Fu Holiday"
I'm sure as far as many people are concerned, there is no bad here.

I couldn't even make it through the preview.
