That has to be one of the worst Blue Jays line ups I have seen in a long long time. I hate to be negative but this team is a disaster at the moment.

Yeah Davidi tweeted something about a sore calf. Makes a heck of a lot more sense.

Made it close at the end but another loss.
How many more games until Gibbons is fired?
Shi Davidi and Jon Heyman apparently saying the Jays are "concentrating on significant player acquisition", but that it's definitely not Cole Hamels. Stoeten has a piece on it:

The Jays haven’t asked the Phillies about Cole Hamels “in months,” reports Shi Davidi of Sportsnet, pivoting off an intriguing-ish piece from Jon Heyman of CBS Sports, who says that the Jays are “are concentrating on significant player acquisitions, especially in the rotation, as a way to kick-start” a team that has struggled in the first six weeks of the season.

Who knows what AA's next move is here, but this current team is not a playoff team.

If this team trades more prospects to patch up their pitching so it's mediocre instead of atrocious... I don't know what I'll do.
So many parallels between the current Jays and the 2010 Flames
A whole bunch of overrated and overpaid veterans surrounded by laughable depth... with a mediocre group of prospects thanks to some ill advised "going for it trades"
I think 20 more years outside the playoffs is more likely than making once in the next 5.

Instead of focusing on the 2015 Jays, the team should be focusing on moving a few of the good pieces they have for a plethora of decent prospects and retool. The Jays deep farm teams are stacked, but there isn't much of anything in the upper tiers to write home about. Alford, Boyd and Davis are doing alright and that's about it.
The Jays won't do much if they keep the selfish players like Bautista on the roster.

I agree with you for the most part, although I do think the Jays prospects are more promising than what the Flames prospects were in 2010, but that's just splitting hairs.
Norris, Sanchez, Osuna, Hutchison, Stroman and Hoffman are good young pitchers that the Jays need to hold onto. Pentecost looks like a promising prospect as well.
But past those players there isn't much to be excited about.
I think the next thing that will happen is Gibbons is going to be fired, AA is going to make a last ditch effort to save his job/make the playoffs to acquire at least a starting pitcher and a closer or a set up guy. Jays likely don't make the playoffs, Beeston retires and AA is shown the door and it all starts over again.

AA should have been desperate in the offseason, not now.

Jays management should clean house, first move fire AA. Then new GM can fire and hire a new Coach

Each day that goes by I get more and more angry with Bautista and his stupidity-caused injury. It's one thing for the injury-prone (like Reyes) to miss time, but this is something else entirely. Cortisone shot is essentially the last-ditch attempt to stave off extended DL time, you have to think.
And Sanchez is back to his old tricks, first two batters get on base to open the game, one via walk.

How do we know he wasn't? There are so many variables that play into it. Do players want to play in Canada? On the turf? Has ownership even given the financial flexibility? Hard to blame AA for all of this
