Yikes, it might be time for Domi to consider retirement - It doesn't appear that his wrist is going to allow him to compete on the tour much longer. When you're getting spanked by RBA who is also in the twilight of his career, it's not looking good.

That really is a shame.
Hubi Hurkacz (one of the nicest guys on tour) sends Garin packing just now. People have long memories and I think Garin might regret that lack of sportsmanship that he displayed yesterday (he was booed as he was introduced today in Estoril).

Got in late from a weekend in Vancouver and decided to watch Felix defeat Luca Nardi 6-2 6-3 playing some very nice tennis.

Since there's no Nadal in Monte Carlo, Sumit Nagal decided to step up and make some history...

Very nice interview. Always followed Nagal, he won the 2015 Boys Wimbledon doubles with Vietnam's Hoang Nam. Nam's career has gone nowhere due to lack of funding and federation interference so I'm glad to see Nagal go through the struggles of a challenger player.

I try to stick to tennis in this thread and steer clear of politics for the most part (plenty of other places for that kind of discussion), but this is gold from Andy Roddick...

Lucky loser Lorenzo Sonego will face Felix on Wednesday instead of Charlie.

Man is Sinner ever playing well. Korda is no slouch and he just steamrolled him like he was a qualifier.

I'm going to try to watch the match later today, but Sonego defeats Felix 6-4 7-5. Was hoping that Felix could take advantage of Charlie having to withdraw from Monte Carlo.

the Carlos Jannik age gap still counts for something, but they're going the opposite directions in terms of durability. If La Carota brings his massive double winged game to clay and grass this year, then he could be set up for a few years of 3/4 majors like the Big 3 primes.

Sonego is probably a little bit more at home on clay but if Felix couldn't win a set against him, can you imagine how things would have played out against Alcaraz? Might have been ugly.

Those arm problems aren't going to get better with age and it seems his flares up about once a year. Pros are usually very hesitant to change their setups but he may have to start making tweeks to his string/racquet setup if his arm keeps flaring up.

I'm way more of a squash player than tennis player but had a similar experience. Last year I bought a head light (and very light overall) Tecnifibre that was made for fast swings and reaction volleys. I developed tennis/squash elbow within 3 sessions and it was persistent until I switched to a heavier, more balanced stick. I'm now a believer in this type of effect for racquet sports.

Was reading that Felix was serving for set 2 at 5-3, got broken which led to Sonego taking four straight games and the match. This appears to be a repeating pattern for Felix as of late, he faces some adversity and then can't seem to reset before the match is over.
