Farhan tweeted it out a couple of days ago - Not definitive, but certainly appears to be the case that no signing is taking place at least for now.

Chad Kelly accused of harassment
John Murphy's comments in that article are likely going to be overlooked in this, but they shouldn't be.
Quote:
A former Toronto Argonauts strength and conditioning coach has filed a wrongful dismissal lawsuit against the Canadian Football League team and quarterback Chad Kelly, alleging the league's highest-paid player and reigning Most Outstanding Player harassed her and that the team fired her after she rejected his advances.
|
Quote:
“Murphy responded by stating that [she] should not have spoken to [Kelly] and that she has now ‘opened a can of worms that didn’t need to be opened,’” the lawsuit says.

No problem with this hire. Experienced CFL coaches are hard to find and keep with the dumb coaches cap the league has.
Not to mention that, as brothers, their philosophies are going to be pretty well aligned.
DD has a lot on his plate and any help he can get and be comfortable with is a really good thing IMO.

I'm sure the CFL will leave no stones unturned in their investigation just like they do ensuring teams don't violate the salary cap and how serious they are when it comes to player discipline. These are the same people that asked the government for money after COVID because they were in serious trouble but weren't willing to open their books. I love the CFL but it's a shady league.

EE is correct, the BC Lions are doing their version of Touchdown Atlantic (replace Atlantic with Pacific) and the game will be played at Royal Athletic Park in Victoria. They are bringing in temporary seating for this special event and are expecting 14,000 fans and ticket prices reflect both that that it's a unique event and limited seating.
