My wife was there at 7:30 this morning just to get these, and she ran into others from my office doing the same thing. One hell of a deal, about 1/3 the price.

I picked up a roast tonight. Price is great but it certainly shouldn't be considered as AAA but I've ranted about the grading of beef at Superstore before.

I grabbed 6 so far. Cooked one sous-vide (delicious) and vacuum sealed the other five for future consumption.

Grabbed 3 this morning. Not sure my vacuum sealer's biggest bag will fit over. Looking forward to consumption!
Thanks.

I was standing beside a woman and literally asked "limit of one eh?". She replied "Yes".
Meanwhile, she had her hands on top of 5 roasts stacked precariously on the edge of the display section. I assume she was waiting for her husband to go back and forth to buy them all one at a time?

Wow, selfish fcks at this time of year. May karma bring your car a shopping cart door ding for each roast you hoarded.

From what I could tell, they did seem to have a lot. They kept bring them out while I was dithering about picking which one I wanted. Seems like they were prepared with a lot of stock.
To also be fair, I believe that Walmart does not have a limit.
Just trying to let people know so hopefully they can get one if they wanted. Unlike the SNES though, I can't really help much more.
EDIT: Happy Holidays folks, let's not get mad about people buying beef. Like for all things, I hope all who are looking are able to get some/what they want.

I got one this morning. $52. Would've gotten more but I'll just eat chicken. Lol. Much cheaper.

As a reference, just did my run at co op and they were about $17/lb. Looks like safeway matched the exact same price, but only on top sirloin roasts.

Wait, if you’re here who is posting videos of people dying in the funny and cool picture thread?

Buying those in large quantities seems like a lose/lose prospect regardless of price. Either you eat them while they are still tasty, and deal with the wrath of your GP when you get your cholesterol tests next spring, or they languish in the bottom of your chest freezer for a couple years until you throw them away because they are all tough and freezer burned. No thanks.

I went and picked up another one. A smaller one this time. $32. Don't think there was a limit. But 2 is enough for us for now.
