German C-160 pilot lands on side road, narrowly missing a bunch of spotters.
Not sure why these spotters didn't run a little faster... most people's spidey senses would be screaming "Hey, that plane is coming right at me" and not "This little road marker will surely protect me"

(Re C-160 landing) Yeesh we had a C-130 do a low flyover when I was in cadets and that was impressive enough, that's just a little too close.

An Air China A330-200 diverted to YYC today. Fog in YVR. It left around 1:30pm. I'm sure some spotters got some pics.

The WestJet flight off the tarmac at Kelowna was not landing, it was taxiing into position to be de-iced when it slid off the tarmac. I would assume very minimal (if any) damage to the aircraft.

Actually had something similar almost happen me with them taxiing to the gate here at YYC a couple of years ago. Making the turn to line up with the gate you suddenly felt the whole plane start sliding sideways, the captain was quick on a reverser and stopped the slide, dumping a whole bunch of snow on the wing!
