You will never think of him as Harry Potter again after watching this lol.

Is this true? Listed as 6'0". Doesn't really seem like a hallmark trait of his or what he would specifically be known for.

Very odd claim.

Huh. Strange. For some reason I always thought he was like 6'4.

My bad. I do think Radcliffe will be good, movie magic should be able to add a couple inches for him.

I think one of the blessings for these stars of big franchises (Potter, Twilight) is, if they have the talent, they can basically do whatever they want with their career afterwards. They never have to worry about money again. Sure do plays and small weird movies.

^You are correct in saying that Radcliffe is still too small to properly play the role. He's only 5'5". That's noticeable on screen, even with movie magic. That, and he's quite ripped compared to Al, so that won't feel right either.

It's an odd choice. My hope is that his performance makes us forget the physical dissimilarities, but we will have to wait and see.

yeah, It's pretty hard to hide what a wee man he is.

hopefully it's not too distracting. As a writer and producer for the movie, I bet Weird Al thought the casting was hilarious.

I went and saw The Lost City on the weekend. Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum just tower over him. It's hilarious cause he's the bad guy in it.

He was so great in that movie. It was such a fun movie all around.

Weird Al isn't huge, but he's somewhat big and has a proportionally large head. One of his signature characteristics is to use that large head/face for dramatic effect. The thick bondedness, especially in the face/jaw, is really a defining trait for Weird Al. Like I said before, Radcliffe really has a small featured pretty boy type face.

I dunno guys. If I was asked to describe a Weird Al, his body or head size wouldn't be where I'd start. I think Radcliffe will do just fine with this.

If you're going into the Weird Al biopic expecting a spot-on recreation of his life story then don't bother. The fact that Ratcliffe looks nothing like Al is the whole point. It's, as they say, the joke.

Hugh Jackman is literally a foot taller than Wolverine and that turned out fine.

I don’t think it’s a joke at all. It’s just good casting. Danny Rad just has the right vibe to play Weird Al, height, body type and head size be damned.

Isn't this movie a follow up of the Funny or Die sketch about a grittier Weird Al bio-pic that featured Aaron Paul?

Aaron Paul and Daniel Radcliffe are pretty similar I'd say, so it's a pretty 1:1 update.

I am totally ready for a Daniel Radcliffe comeback. He just seems so likeable, like The Rock or Keanu Reeves

I’m not sure Radcliffe ever really left, he’s just been doing smaller non-franchise stuff. We watched one with him in it a while ago, Escape from Pretoria, and I thought he was absolutely excellent in it.

The comeback already started if you saw The Lost City.

Radcliffe is a very talented actor. I have liked him in almost everything I've seen him in....with the notable exception of Harry Potter.

I really dont like Harry Potter. And thats all I have to say about that.

I think they’re a mixed bag, a collection of decently entertaining 6-7/10 fantasy movies.

Except for Deathly Hallows Part 1 which I think is a legitimately excellent movie.
