In case anyone didn't know, there was a six minute "The Dark Knight Rises" trailer released in theaters that shows the beginning of the movie. I won't post the link but google is your friend. They did the same thing with TDK and the bank scene

I want to see this movie so bad. Too bad I don't go to movie theaters anymore...waiting for the Bluray is going to kill me.
Why not? Especially for a movie like this. Why not spend the same as you would for the Bluray, sit in moderately comfortable chairs, and watch it on a gigantic f***kin screen?

Because I hate people. Last movie I saw in the theater was True Grit and two old people sat next to me and immediately went to sleep. They snored the whole time. Otherwise, I have never been to a movie where my seat wasn't being kicked the whole time. "Please don't kick my seat" must mean "Please don't kick my seat for the next 10 minutes".

I thought this was a 6 minute scene that was only being released in IMAX theatres before Mission Impossible? And it wasnt a trailer, it was the opening scene of the actual film.
That's what they did for Dark Knight, they showed the openign bank robbery scene in IMAX theatres before I Am Legend.
Can anyone confirm or deny they are doing the same kind of thing this time around?

The cover is by Glitch Mob if you're just wondering.
It is available for free to stream on their website but because it isn't an "official" remix you can't legally DL it anywhere. Even torrents don't seem to be too widespread right now. Give it a few more days. Seems like the song was originally released like a year ago but has had a huge resurgence in the last few days because of that trailer.
And just for clarity it isn't a cover, it is a remix. A ####ing deadly remix.
I think there is both the 6 minute opening scene introducing Bane (which was cool but I like the Dark Knight bank job better) and a 2 minute trailer (if what I watched was legit) which has a bunch of random clips, shows Anne Hathway's character and stuff.
This could shed some light on why there is a second green lit Clash of the Titans movie.

These kind of movies will never win academy awards or golden globes (special effects maybe) but they have their place.
It's ok to watch a movie sometimes that doesn't stir emotions or make you think about what you just saw. Sometimes you just want to chow on some popcorn and laugh at corny acting, cool action and amazing cgi

I was disappointed in everything about the remake of Clash of The Titans...but that is likely because I love the original so much. Plus I saw the remake in 3D, which was a waste of time.
I agree with you about the original. When I was a kid I was absolutely blown away by it and couldn't watch it enough. At the time I don't remember another movie with special effects as realistic. That being said, impressing an eight year old is easy and I'm sure that the movie was no where as good as my brain is telling me because of what it meant to me as a stupid kid.
