Oh, 100% disagree. I bought it second hand about 10 years ago, so besides that one song, no nostalgia going into it. I will put it on when I'm in the mood for some 90s, and it always satisfies.

EDIT, oops, ha...as per thread. No debates, yada yada yada. OK, Ill find some more favs from the 90s...

Thank you MMF, purely for the Cake posts. Severely underrated 90s band.

Just so much goodness. Basically the entire 2000's was a commercial, look how rich I am, wasteland. Things are coming back around in the last few years though.
One of my favourites was Lost Boyz, and I wasn't even really a huge fan of rap.

Saw them open for Van Halen in '91. They were great. Van Halen... not so much.

Soundgarden, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, they were all the soundtrack to me moving out on my own, figuring #### out. Might be my favourite time period for music.

Favourite CanCon songs from the 90s (probably from listening to CJAY92 or whatever else there was back then):

(No on youtube it seems)

(Also not sure what is up with this video)

Not a hit, but this is the song that made me realize that I Mother Earth was not Edwin's band.

My favourite memory of Sloan (I guess Chris) suggesting that they will probably with their first Grammy the same year they get a Juno life time achievement award.

First song that came to mind was this:

Makes me wish KRS and DJ Premier were a full time duo. No disrespect to Guru.

1990s eh?

Albums are easier for me:

Depeche Mode - Violator

Eric's Trip - Love Tara

Radiohead - Duh

Sonic Youth - Washing Machine

Stereolab - 2 great albums in the 90s

Tom Waits belongs on any list

Tool - Undertow and Aenima

Rage against the Machine - 2 fantastic albums in the 90s

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Blood Sugar Sex Magik

Santana - Supernatural

Guns 'n Roses - Use your Illusions

Massive Attack - Blue Lines and Mezzanine were both good; Tricky's Pre-Millennium Tension also filed here

Ministry - Psalm 69

REM - Automatic for the People

Tragically Hip - Day for Night

PJ Harvey - Rid of Me and To Bring You My Love

NaS - as previously mentioned

Sarah McLachlan - Solace and Fumbling Toward Ecstacy

Sinead O'Connor - I do not want...

Eric B and Rakim - Let the Rhythm Hit 'Em and Don't Sweat the Technique

NIN - The Downward Spiral

Public Enemy - Fear of a Black Planet

Portishead - both Dummy and their eponymous album were amazing

Primus - Tales from the Punchbowl

Forget 90's rap as a whole, how about just 94 and 95?

90s hip hop it is. Hidden for those who aren't interested. Expand if you are.
