Where do people get the notion that University Staff salaries suck?
If shes the assistant director of a University then a couple hundred grand a year in residuals is a very nice bonus to her salary.
Assuming its a decent University and not Greendale or something.
The point was she is not making a couple hundred grand a year in residuals. Quote from my article, about Sagat's residuals:
Quote:
"If you're doing a show and you're not an executive producer and own it, then you get residuals which can amount to checks from $2 to $2,000."
If this is what Sagat is getting, I can guarantee Kimmy Gibbler is getting a lot less.
University salaries are all over the place. While tenured professors and higher ups are getting a huge amount, there are also a ton of people in academia working for next to nothing. In fact, many positions available to graduate students and recent graduate students are unpaid.
She also wasn't an "Assistant Director". She was an assistant to the director, big difference:
The Huffington Post. After graduating, The Huffington Post also reports that she worked as the assistant to the director of International Programs at Whittier College.
Whittier college is a small college with a total attendance of about 1,800. She's basically an administrative assistant at a college about 5% the size of Mount Royal. Doubt she's rolling in it. Things have changed a little now, but actors really got shafted back in the day.

Mary-Kate and Ashley were in full house. Elizabeth Olsen is their younger sister and was never on full house.
Not that I would know that at all
After the twins said no to returning, Stamos suggested that they contact Elizabeth to see if she'd do it. Her agent laughed at them and said there was no chance she would ever do it.

I mean they bought back Boy meets world (To be honest Girl Meets World is probably going to be better then this).
This one will have the curiosity factor but I doubt that many people watch beyond the first couple of episodes. I mean the original series was terrible and not very funny.
so they're building off of a bad premise.
Unless Kimmie starts shooting heroin into her eye balls.

I know my 11 year old daughter is super excited for this and so are her friends. They are all big fans of this show and have been for about a year. I don't know where it came from but one day she came home and started watching them on Netflix. She has watched the entire run twice and so have her friends.
Maybe we are not the audience they are going for?
I started watching episodes of the old full house and actually get quite a few laughs all though i was too young to really appreciate uncle jesse and his sluty ways when i was young

You lie! There was never anything funny about Full House. It was the Family Circus of sitcoms.

Well today is fuller house day, how do I know? Well my daughter was up way faster than normal this morning to watch it. I watched most of the first episode with her as I was getting ready and it is pretty much what you would expect. Laugh track, basic jokes etc. But I have to say, damn those girls grew up.....
