11 goals in 2 games let in by Gillies
Been left out to dry a bit in both games, but not great goaltending at all by him

Heat pull the goalie
1:27 left
EDIT: Now he's back in the net as the draw comes outside the Tucson zone

How many PP goals have they given up today? Gillies needs to be their best penalty killer but he's hardly being helped by the team in front of him. I think there's blame to go around.

Two PP goals and a shorthanded goal, plus one goal by coughing up the puck in the offensive zone just as a Tucson penalty expired.
Terrible special teams cost them this one
Game over.
6-5 final for Tucson

Heat 0/6 on the PP (gave up a shorty, plus one right after a penalty expired)
Plus they gave up 2 goals on 7 penalty kills
Gillies needs to be better that's for sure, but the whole team does as well
That's an aggravating loss.
Up 3-0 in the first 5 minutes and then played like ass for 55 minutes
0-1-1 against Tucson so far this year and should have won both games
Grrrr
Play them again on Sunday. Hopefully they don't play like a bunch of idiots in that game and get some goaltending

Learning experience for a young team? Thanks for the updates. AHL site was pathetic tonight.

Final shots were 41-31 Heat
Klimchuk was a +4 with 1 goal and 1 assist
So that's a bright spot for sure
