RIP Hal Holbrook
Actually Died Jan 23rd
Great versatile actor who has has a multitude of roles.
For me I’ll always remember him in All The Presidents Men, The Firm, West Wing and Sons of Anarchy.
His career is greatly understated and just overall amazing.
RIP.

Agreed, one of those faces that seemed to show up in many different films and TV shows. Had a very statesman'y style to him.

He was in a lot of stuff from my childhood memories.
Capricorn One, The Fog, The Star Chamber, Creepshow. He was great.

He was really good in Capricorn One.
Dr. Kelloway (Hal Holbrook) explains to the astronauts how big the conspiracy has gotten, and threatens their families if they refuse to comply.

The sage old guy who worked for bell labs and gave advice for Tony Soprano on the meaning of life.
That’s what I best remember him for.

We’re watching The Sopranos for the first time and guess who we see just now: Hal Holbrook. R.I.P., Hal.

Just watched Creepshow the other night, haven't seen that in years. Forgot he was in that!
