Another tweet storm this morning, mostly about Obama, Hillary, Russia. Then this last one:
Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump
Republican Senators are working very hard to get there, with no help from the Democrats. Not easy! Perhaps just let OCare crash & burn!
Maybe there's no help because the bill is a disaster for the country?

He's like a lonely, obsessed, not bright, drunk guy with a twitter account.

Lol. Any real, self-respecting professional journalist would look at those questions and laugh. Fox has always been a joke, but they've now leaned so far to the extreme right that they're basically no better than Breitbart these days. What a pathetic and embarrassing organization.

Trump is now demanding an apology into the Russia probes saying they have not resulted in any publicly available accusations, he then defected to Obama claiming that he obstructed and colluded the 2016 elections
Quote:
President Donald Trump on Monday asked for an apology over the investigations into Russia's election meddling and possible collusion with his 2016 campaign because those probes, which are ongoing, have not publicly turned up any proof of coordination between Trump associates and the Russian government.
In addition, in a flurry of tweets, he also accused his predecessor of purposefully ignoring Russian efforts to interfere in last year’s presidential election for fear of altering the course of an expected victory by Democrat Hillary Clinton.
Trump won an unexpected victory last November and has seen his administration plagued by swirling controversy stemming from Russia’s campaign of cyberattacks against Democratic targets and investigations into whether the president’s campaign or anyone associated with him colluded with the Kremlin on those attacks.
Trump has regularly derided those investigations as a “witch hunt” and has more recently sought to turn the tables by accusing former President Barack Obama of failing to address Russia’s efforts to impact the electoral process. On Monday, Trump said Obama’s failure to act was not negligent, but a willful effort to aid his preferred presidential candidate.
“The reason that President Obama did NOTHING about Russia after being notified by the CIA of meddling is that he expected Clinton would win and did not want to ‘rock the boat,’” Trump tweeted. “He didn't ‘choke,’ he colluded or obstructed, and it did the Dems and Crooked Hillary no good.”

No no you guys, it wasn't me in cahoots with the Russians, it was the Democrats! Who, uh, I guess collaborated with them to ensure that they'd lose... wait.

Trump has the information accessible to him about what Obama did and didn't do, including secret actions. And Obama did take some actions. Though all that info might not be available on Fox and Friends so he probably is unaware.
Obama tried to be non-partisan by not releasing the information it did have, he thought it would appear that he was trying to influence the election if he did.

Not sure how real this is...
This conversation was provided to Seymour Hersh. It is betweeen a security adviser and an active US American soldier on duty on a key operational base about the events in Khan Sheikhoun. We have made abbreviations: American soldier (AS) and Security Advisor (SA). WELT AM SONNTAG is aware of the location of the deployment. For security reasons, certain details of military operations have been omitted.

Looks like the Supreme Court has allowed a limited version of Trump's travel ban to be reinstated. No doubt he's gonna brag about this like a 12 year-old for the next few weeks.

Quote:
The justices will hear full arguments in October in the case that has stirred heated emotions across the nation. In the meantime, the court said Monday that Trump’s ban on visitors from Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen can be enforced if those visitors lack a “credible claim of a bona fide relationship with a person or entity in the United States.”
Trump said last week that the ban would take effect 72 hours after being cleared by courts.
The administration has said the 90-day ban was needed on national security grounds to allow an internal review of screening procedures for visa applicants from the six countries. Opponents say the ban is unlawful, based on visitors’ Muslim religion. The administration review should be complete before Oct. 2, the first day the justices could hear arguments in their new term.
A 120-ban on refugees also is being allowed to take effect on a limited basis.
|
Quote:
“For individuals, a close familial relationship is required,” the court said. For people who want to come to the United States to work or study, “the relationship must be formal, documented and formed in the ordinary course, not for the purpose of evading” the travel ban.

I'd be willing to bet that the last section is eventually what is allowed by the court. Not a full ban, but allowing people to be excluded unless they have an existing relationship with someone in the US already or are approved to work or study.

Once again, where is Saudi Arabia in this ban?
Excluding it makes the ban look like one massive joke. If it wasn't already.

Obama thought Hillary had it in the bag (like the rest of us) and didn't want it to look like a he aided in her victory so he left things alone for the most part.
that backfired

I would argue that he couldn't make comment without giving the appearance of playing partisan politics and meddling in the election. NPR had a former CIA agent who worked in the Obama administration discussing this very issue this morning and he stated the communications between Russia and the US in regards to the meddling was substantial, but they were hesitant to make any more communication with the public than they did for the very reason of being pointed at as interfering in the process. They had a very fine line to tread and they took the steps they felt they had to while trying to maintain our process. As he put it, it was a no win situation and Trump's behaviors made it impossible to counter without killing the election all together.

Yeah, I can't even imagine the poopstorm from the right if Obama had come out and forcefully said that Russia was conspiring to attempt to swing the election for Trump. If he did that and Clinton won, I don't think armed insurrection would be out of the question.

It was such a no win. As a result, I feel as though we have lost the heart of the nation. The Republicans are intent on doing everything in their power to kill the social safety net and make a mockery of the constitution. This country used to be about everyone attaining the American Dream, but it has become a system where 99% are indentured servants to the 1%. The Republicans love to rail on about transfers of wealth, yet every piece of legislation written is to take money from the poorest and weakest and transfer it to the richest and most well-to-do. Lady Liberty is due for a new inscription.
With apologies to Emma Lazarus
Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door,
And show you to your right place, to serve thee.

Yeah it wasn't a good situation but looking back...he probably should have done more
I mean Trump is the leader of the free world FFS
If we are playing that game though the dems probably should have run a candidate with less baggage but they were hell bent on the first women president following the first black president
