Bruins 5-Flames 2. The end of the streak.
First of all, full credit to the Bruins, they played an amazing game and they deserved the win.
I know that these are human beings and not robots, but I have to put the bulk of that loss on Chad Johnson. He just wasn't ready tonight. I put the rest of that loss on Jordan Sigalet for not having him ready.

Just an awful, frustrating game to watch with how stifling the Bruins played. Clogged up their own end like the Wild circa ten years ago. Their PK is annoyingly good.
Shout out to David Backes for that Oscar worthy performance killing a play and acting like he was shot and coming back a few shifts later like it never happened. Slimy move. You should have to sit out a period if you make a production that big causing the game to be delayed.

Yeah. Not a great game for the Flames. The goaltending probably deflated them a bit, but they just didn't seem in it for most of the game. Everything was a bit off. A loss was coming eventually and tonight was the night unfortunately. Get re-focused and play some better hockey next game.

You would like to have a better game there, but it's tough to be mad overall. Playing every other day really gives the team a good chance to get back into a groove.

Faceoffs 65 - 35 percent in favour of the Bruins. That's not the goalies fault.

I'm going to call you out on this. Backes is a lot of things, but a diving/faker he is not. He seriously hurt his knee on that play and was moaning and wailing in pain. The fact that he came back at all is a testament to how tough he is. Let's not be that kind of fan.

Gulutzan's problem is he doesn't shorten the bench when trailing. It's been frustrating all year.

Johnson with one of his worst game of the season. Was fighting the puck all night and didn't look comfortable.

Bruins are a good team. They remind me of the LA Kings when the Kings get hot in the playoffs.

I liked it better when the Flames were winning.
Shake this one off boys, lots of hockey to play yet.

Sucks to see the streak ended but it was never going to last forever.
Sure Johnson looked horrible but Khudobin was shaky too. The Flames getting badly out shot was the reason for the loss.
