I have a feeling (though knock on wood it isn't serious) someone in the bottom six will be banged up and Lazar will get in the lineup and be somewhat of a positive story line at some point.

Forward: Mark Jankowski- From what coach Huska has to say about Mark Jankowski, I hopefully accept him to make an impact if he is called up and playing.
Defence: Brett Kulak- Another player that coach Huska is praising, when ever coach Huska in on the Fan 960, he always mentions Brett Kulak and always says nice things about him.

I like the idea of this thread because it makes me think of 2004.
All the injuries that year......example our top line with Conroy mcammond iginla.
mcammond was out and Gelinas was inserted on that line and-look what happened.
The dores were underrated but did a good job .....commodore and montador
Saprykin and Kobasew and Lombardi all had they're ways to contribute
Yelle, shot blocker and face off specialist
Using some one somewhere they wouldn't have normally played successfully......so for the Flames this year the emergence of Tkachuk and the Ascension of Backlund is what I think about.
I have a funny feeling Frolik is going to score some meaningful goals ....he's just so good in all areas....pp, pk,and regular strength.

I'll never forget Iginla asking before all the big games ....." Who will be the hero tonight"?
My pick will be Elliot as I love hot goalies and Kipper was one to always show up even after a bad game statistically .....he'd win.
