Brendan Perlini scored in the second period and the Coyotes win 1-0 over Colorado. Anybody watch this game?

I was hoping for an LA win, since that would have helped push the Oilers out of the Playoffs.
On the bright side, it's now very possible for the Blues to pass the Oilers.

They basically got him for free. To me that says they were the only team willing to take him on. At least he has a shot, even if it is slim. With the Avs he wouldn't even have a chance.

That is why I can't bring myself to cheer for the LA Kings. Too bad about Iggy.

Too bad for the Kings. Really big loss for them. Darryl and Iginla are enough for me to cheer for that team when not playing the Flames.

Kings at a 23.8% chance to make the playoffs. Poor Iggy, he should have chosen Calgary.

I don't think he had much of a choice. He was basically traded for nothing.

From the sounds of what another poster said when Burke had a Q&A after the deadline the Flames may have inquired about him but he wasn't interested.

Oilers shouldn't have the easy way in. I was hoping for the Kings to win the game. Oh well, still lots of games for the Oilers to lose.

The BJs keep on winning, 5-3 over the Flyers and they are 1 point back of the Caps and Pens for 1st place overall. The loss keeps Philly 6 back of the 8th place Leafs. The Bruins get some breathing room with the 6-3 win over the Canucks. Boston is 5 up on the 9th place Islanders and they can still pass Ottawa and Montral. The Lightning's OT win over the Rangers puts Tampa tied with the Islanders, just 1 back of the Leafs. The Isles were brutal in their 8-4 loss to the Hurricanes. Yikes, nothing went right for them. Both goalies sucked, get scored on shorthanded, and bad line changes. The Jets-Preds game had some great offense, Laine can't do it all.
