lanny Should Dougie sit out next game?

Playing with some pain tonight. I want him 100 percent in the stretch.

Now, with the new team record in the bag, the pressure's off.

Throw the kid in against the Pens.

He was walking with a noticeable limp when they showed the teams walking in the first intermission.

Pressure is off? He had half the game off due to the score, really doubt he skips the next one

Why would any of us be qualified to say whether he should be playing or not? It's not like CP knows the extent of the injury or how the guy feels. Let's trust the team docs on this one.

Flames were going to shut-down Dougie Hamilton in the third period but he played through the pain of the laceration on his leg.

now
Gulutzan: "He was in some discomfort" even after all the freezing on his leg.

He's obviously hurting. Guess we shall see how the next couple of days go but I'd rather see him at 100% myself. Too important to the team to eff around here.

I realize the Flames need the points now, but no sense having him hobble to the finish line.

Shut him down for sure. Playoffs will be there for sure in my mind and I'd like to see us be able to go deep with a healthier Player.

His foot speed looked lacking tonight .....wasn't his regular self.

I must say it doesn't seem very smart to play a full game just 2 days after a calf laceration, but who knows how severe it was.

Dude is playing injured and still gets 3 points haha. I think the medical staff will know if he's good to go or not for the next game.

We know he is a warrior, but no way should they risk any complication.

Up to the docs... if he's able I'd rather he play until Stone is able to draw in since our depth on the blue line is weak.

Dougie had 3 points and was a major reason for the win. Would much rather have him in the lineup at less than 100% over a rookie. He can rest once the Flames clinch a playoff spot.

Just limit his ice time. Should be fine with another couple days of healing.

Give the guy a break. Put Andersson in.

Win-win. And then win.

No. Don't sit him. On top of it he probably doesn't want to sit. He makes big money. Play him, and make him play big minutes.
