looks like there is still a decent chance Hamilton might not play

Rasmus Andersson didn't stay on with Freddie Hamilton and Curtis Lazar after #Flames morning skate...so Dougie Hamilton still questionable.

I hope I'm wrong but I don't like the looks of this. Flames usually play horribly in Winnipeg and the Jets have one of the faster and bigger forward groups in the league. Doesn't bode well for Wideman and potentially Andersson if he draws in.

Am I correct in saying that the team has won every game since Wideman got scratched, and that's when the streak started?
True.
That said, the team already started turning it around after the previous Montreal game. (The one we lost, after which Gulutzan ripped pretty much the whole team in the postgame, and afterwards they drank those beers on the train). After that, they went 5-1-2 with Wideman still in the lineup.

Actually I would rather the Flames let Dougie rest tonight - just so he heals up properly - without risking any further complications because he tried to come back too soon.

you are correct. His last game was the 2-1 OT loss against Vancouver. Then Stone came in, and they've won all 8 games since then.
Mind you, they had a decent record the last few games he played as well. Just not an 8 game winning streak. The microscope will be on though. If he he has a good couple shifts, that could set a good tone.
I'd bet my lunch money that Andersson plays tonight and Dougie sits a game. I find it hard to believe that Andersson's mom made the 10 hour flight from Sweden without a pretty good indication that her boy would be in the lineup.
I'm fine with Wideman playing tonight. He'll be hungry to show the team and really the NHL that he still can contribute to the game. Regardless of how I feel about his play in the recent months, he's still a Flames player and i'll cheer for his success.
Huge win for the good guys.
Found this on Twitter, its perfect.
