I've never seen a clip of an injury like that :O
It's hard to tell if its a right ankle, right knee, or cut left calf/achilles. :|

It's really bad news to lose one dman to injury, let alone two.
Does anyone have the clip of Stone's injury? I happened to be taking an untimely bathroom break when this occurred.
EDIT: thanks sureloss

Stones looks like a broken collar bone. Couldn't even pick up his stick with two hands
You can also see the trainer immediately motion to the team doctors who sit in the stands right behind the bench

Yep, there's some sort of witchcraft going on when it comes to the Flames.
And I think Wideman might be working with them considering it was the second pairing suspiciously knocked out of the game!

Anything but Wideman.
A post deadline trade would put that acquisition in the press box for the remainder of the season. Would we be acquiring said player for moral support?

In the regular season, he could play...not able to play in playoffs.

no contact to that region on stone's body though the hit looks to be arm to arm if i'm seeing things right

It honestly looked like a shoulder issue to me for Stone.
His looked worse than Hamilton's... Hopefully neither is serious.

Both day to day according to Gelinas.
Dougie back sooner rather than later.
