Edmonton. Bring em on.
Seeing how cocky some of their fan base has gotten. All the excuses they are coming up for the Flames is delicious. "Only teams lie down for Calgary" "They won't be so lucky without OT in the Playoffs"

Definitely the Oilers. That's a one line team. You shut down the McDavid line, you shut down their entire game plan.

A Flames - Oilers playoff series is simply the best. It has been far too long since the last one.

Oilers. Get under Lucic's skin. Make him take a lot of dumb penalties. Crush the souls of Oiler fans everywhere. Break McDingdongs heart.

I think the Ducks and Oilers are significantly worse than the Sharks. I'd gladly take either. But...I think the Ducks have a better chance of knocking off the sharks, so I'll say the oilers.

Don't really care but it would be nice to eliminate the Oilers in their shiny new arena!

Oilers oilers oilers. holy hell would i love to beat their smug a**es. I have far too many oil fan friends from when i attended u of a, they are such low iq, uninformed, dipchit pieces of trash it is unbelievable. the same guys that were condoning throwing jerseys on the ice not 2 years ago are celebrating like theyre winning the cup by making the playoffs. They deserve epic failure, and nothing will hurt them more than the Flames beating them because i mean how could a team without McJesus win?!?!?! lol
after that, i want chicago. They killed us in 09, its time for revenge. yes i hold long grudges...

I would say Oilers but I'm wary, not because I don't think the Flames could handle them - I believe the Flames are a better built and deeper team - but I don't think it would be an even playing field.
Lady lucky often shines on that team and they also get the calls. Remember the breakaway sequence in game one? You can bet McD would push his embellishment game to another level. And the officials would buy it.
Even if we won, I could only imagine it would be quite aggravating along the way as a fan to see various breaks that might occur and subsequently help the Oilers to a couple wins. And I'm personally already tired of all the questionable crap we've had to endure to this point.

Oilers. (only if the refs behave and let a hockey game unfold, rather than catering to McSaviour and his many hurt feels)
I want them to put a bowl in the empty spot for a cup so they can fill their tears with it.
A season sweep wouldn't matter if the Flames were the ones to provide a first round exit in their first ever post season in 10 years.

Round 1-Oilers
Round 2-Ducks/Sharks
Round 3-Hawks
Round 4-Wings/Lightening
We have demons to exercise against all of them.

Anyone but the oilers.
When the NHL gifted them a team I just about threw in the towel. I won't go to an oilers game and don't even watch. Makes me hate the NHL not just the oilers. If that's the playoff matchup my weird hang up will be a pickle.

I shouldn't want the Oilers but I do.
I'm in Calgary from April 2-16 and would love SOME chance of tickets so I could have my son witness a playoff game.
That won't happen if we get the Oilers, but the atmosphere across the city should be electric.
