I didn't want to make a separate thread but on Friday I'm sure people will want to follow the events closely and not clutter the Video Game thread. I have some thoughts and predictions on what will be shown. What do you think?
Diablo 2 HD remake reveal.
Diablo 4 Announcement
Overwatch PvE content of some sort possibly even a full fledged game (Titan) to compete with Destiny.
World of Warcraft - Upcoming Legion content. Nothing special.
I imagine they're not going to do anything crazy with Diablo. All signs point to a quick anniversary celebration in their current games and nothing more. Probably no expansion talk either.
Hearthstone will likely get an announcement for its next expansion though. Overwatch will get Sombra I guess? Legion might get a teaser for the Nighthold raid (and hopefully more 5 man content), and other than some updates for Heroes of the Storm I bet that'll be about it.
Crazy out there idea - something new with StarCraft???
Currently the only Blizzard game I play is Heroes of the Storm so I am interested in what will be announced for that. I am assuming a couple new characters will be talked about. Maybe even a non-standard type of character will be announced too. Something else new to the game would be nice as well.
Mini-Expansion, paid DLC, pretty much the same thing. I got enough out of Reaper of Souls that I will most definitely partake in the Necromancer whatever-you-want-to-call-it.
Diablo's nice because you can just hop in for a season, play it, then step away from it. The new class looks fun. I'll definitely give is a shot for a season or two.
I'm curious how much the character expansion will cost. I think I've gotten pretty good value out of diablo ($100 for the core game + expansion for 6 years of gameplay) that i'd be ok playing $20 for the character.
