Honestly though, I assume they would just allow it to run as it currently is. Nothing to worry about.

The Brazilian capital firm 3G that owns Restaurant Brands International (Burger King + Tim Hortons) is famous for cost cutting. That's why Timmy's food has gone down the drain and Burger Kings have been ill-maintained and are disappearing off the map.
That said, I still go to Burger King all the time for $1.99 Nuggets and their Fish Burger is bigger and half the price of McDonalds. Whopper Wednesday is still good. The only problem is that there are so few Burger Kings left in Calgary I have to drive halfway across the city to visit one.

Their food has gone down the drain? When was it ever quality? I like the coffee but anything more than a donut and bagel there has never been what I would consider high quality food.

I remember BK being pretty tasty in the late 90's. $1.49 whoppers were money to a high school kid.
Now days they are garbage.

Hopefully they do what they did with Wendy's and put Tim's and Popeyes in the same location.

Now someone could correct me, but Wendy's and Tim's are not the same company since they were broken apart in 2009.
I could be wrong though.

I drove by the 17th ave Popeye's this eve and they have to close the whole st beside it for the drive thru line up. That's insane. When I stay in Toronto I walk by the Popeye's on Lakeshore all the time and I've never seen a single person there. What gives?

If you don't want to wait just go around 11:30 pm. I've been there a few times that late and one time there wasn't a single car and the next I had 2 cars in front of me. They close at 12am.

For about a week now.
I went there on Monday at about 4, waited about 10-15 mins because they were waiting on a batch of white meat to be ready. Without a doubt this was miles ahead of KFC and chicken on the way. Love the corn fritters at chicken on the way, but those biscuits from Popeye's were pretty good.
Will be back again when I need a chicken fix.

Went there on Monday at around 11:20am after picking up my son from kindergarten and the place already had a lineup of maybe 15-18 people. I also had my 20 month old so we did not wait to order. Going to try some other time and hopefully it won't be so busy.
