ASUS P8Z68-V Pro / Gen 3 w/ DDR3 1600, 7.1 Audio, Gigabit Lan, 1394, CrossFireX / SLI

Patriot Intel Extreme Masters Limited Edition DDR3 32GB (4 x 8GB) PC3-15000 Kit

LG 14x Internal Blu-Ray Writer

GTX 670 for best $/performance
GTX 660 for budget
GTX 680 if you hate money
GTX 690 if you really hate money

I would also replace the motherboard and the cpu with their z77 (gen 3) equivalents. Might as well get the latest (intel chipset SATA3 and USB3)

This monitor is fantastic for the price, but don't spend more than $250 on it. Goes on sale every few weeks.

I recently picked up a GTX 670 (Gigabyte) and I love it. So far it runs everything on the highest settings with no issues (BF3, Crysis, Rage etc.). The GTX 680 is a good option as well but some models would put you over your budget. You could also look at the HD 7970 from ATI.

Probably won't be upgrading the cpu/mobo since I did it back in march, but would i notice a big difference?

Probably not much. I've got a 1st gen i7 and seem to have no problems running anything I throw at it.

This monitor, the Dell Ultrasharp U2412M is on sale today for 250 as part of Dells Days of Deals. I just bought two of them, good reviews and a decent price for an IPS panel

nah. I mean, it's not bad, but you are paying an extra ~$100 for 2gb more of video ram. 4GB of video ram is pretty excessive unless you plan on playing across 3 monitors, which you probably aren't, and if you are, should be looking into getting a 680 (or 2).

or

http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX39494

are considered the best of the gtx 670 class gpus, cool, quiet, cheap. I bought the Asus for $380 at memex a month ago. (currently at NCIX for $409 + shipping http://ncix.com/products/index.php?s...S&promoid=1267 )

an even better deal is http://ncix.com/products/index.php?s...e&promoid=1267
$369 and free Borderlands 2 is pretty sweet. This is the same as the first one I posted. The deal expires tonight, but NCIX cycles their deals weekly, and will probably have the same deal reappear tomorrow morning.

Seriously, I would get the last one. That is a killer deal.

Honestly, I bought the Gigabyte one NuclearPizzaMan linked and it's awesome. I think I got it on sale for $369 at Memex. They'll price match that deal listed on NCIX. Keep in mind every GTX 670 comes with a copy of Borderlands 2. MemEx has a coupon with a code they'll hand to you once you've bought it.
