Love the hard work by Gallagher the entire game, finally paid off with Byron's first. Pacioretty with a weird one and a couple of empty netters to finish them off. Glad they showed up for this one.

Bonus: 2nd game I've watched in a row with a great fight (Bennett's bout on Saturday was awesome as well)

Just noticed that Byron registered his 100th career NHL point in the game last night.

Congrats to and thank you Paul Byron.

Hope the Grease fire continues.

Do kittens get a lot of game winners?

NHL Public Relations‏ @PR_NHL
Max Pacioretty of the @CanadiensMTL ranks second in the NHL with 34 game-winning goals since the start of the 2013-14 season.

This is why the Stars lost 5-1 to the Sharks and why their season has gone the way it has.
"Kari Lehtonen allowed three goals on eight shots before being pulled for the second straight game in favour of Antti Niemi, who stopped 16 of 18 shots. Dallas is tied with Colorado for allowing the most goals in the NHL this season with 220."

The Capitals have had a brutal road trip and losing 5-2 to the Ducks was only part of it.
"The Washington Capitals have four straight regulation losses for the first time in 2+ seasons. Their defense has been shredded for 17 goals during that skid, and superstar Alex Ovechkin is mired in the longest goal-scoring drought of his career."

The Rangers win their 25th road win of the season as they beat the Red Wings 4-1.

The Blackhawks are just one point back of the Wild with their 4-2 win over Minnesota.
"Patrick Kane and Artemi Panarin scored on Chicago's first two shots, helping the Blackhawks (43-20-5) rebound from two straight losses."

More commentary on the Oilers bizarre 4-1 loss to the Habs.
