Question Where to buy Peanut Oil?

I want to try using Peanut Oil in my deep fryer instead of Corn Oil, so I am looking for large quantities of Peanut Oil. 4L jugs at a minimum, in hopes it'll be more affordable than the 900ml containers you can find at some grocery stores.

I tried to buy a 5 gallon jug from Five Guys (since they sacks of potatoes and containers of Oil sitting all over where you order), but they said they were unable to sell it. I am pretty sure I could shoplift it though!

If anyone sees it for sale at a reasonable price in large quantities, please let me know. Thank you!

In for an answer as well, I have been ordering from Amazon and the price is cringe worthy.

T&T should have what you're looking for.

Maybe try the restraint suppliers like Sysco/Serca or Gordon Foods. Not sure if they would sell to you buy typically that's where restaurants would get it from.

Otherwise try a local non-chain restaurant you frequent. They might be more
Willing to order it for you.

I just searched for peanut oil on Amazon.ca. The 4th result was... interesting.

I would try Wholesale Club. Lots of restaurants buy from there but you don't have to be a business or have a membership.

I stopped by T&T tonight. There is a lot of neat stuff to buy in that store.

The largest container of pure peanut oil was 2L. I bought two, but at $26.73, the cost is also cringe worthy. How does that compare to Amazon?

Thanks for all the suggestions so far folks!

Almost exact same price as Amazon, I pay 24.99 plus GST so weigh the delivery to your door vs pickup and right now vs 2 days and IMO its a wash.

Also its not just the 4th item its also the 11th item, LOL

I buy peanut oil all the time. I've never seen it in a 4L jug. I've only ever been able to buy it in the 1L bottle.

Bottles of it were $5.29 at Safeway for 750--ish ml. (Can't remember the exact size)
