Calgary Minor Football Jamboree

I just wanted to throw out there that the Calgary Minor Football Jamboree is this Saturday August 13th at Shouldice starting at 10:00 PM and running til 4:00 PM.

So if you have a hankering for some football before the Stamps obliterate the Riders, here you go. Plus there will be bake tents and auction tents and all of that good stuff where the proceeds to to support minor football in Calgary.

This is a jamboree for the Bantam and Peewee level teams.

My team (Calgary Cowboys Grey Bantam) play 4 mini games at 10 12 2 and 3.

The 10 and 3 games are on Stampeder
the 12 game is at field 8
the 2 pm game is at Hellard

At the Jamboree the games are broken into 2 halfs played on a half field with 10 plays for each offense. there is no blitzing and the QB's must stay in the pocket.

Is there a master schedule for this anywhere? A quick Google search didn't turn up anything useful

I think the schedule was finalized last night, I would expect that they'll either post to the minor football site or the facebook page. Or posted at the Jamboree.

Do coaches stand on the field?

When I used to play in Jamborees the coaches would be out on the field. About all I can remember from them. That and getting a BS PI call.

Yeah, for the Jamboree, 3 coaches from each team can be in the huddle.

I think I freaked out my assistants because I told them I'm only calling one game, and I'm going to assign them each one game to run the book.

The Calgary minor football jamboree is next weekend on Saturday at Shouldice Park. With all proceeds going to charity. There will be food, a silent auction and a ton of football. I know that we start at 11:00

Just a reminder that the Jamboree is tomorrow down at Shouldice starting at 9 am and going until 3 pm. Lots of football as the Bantam and Peewee Associations are running the Jamboree at the same time.
