A bit more pricey than I thought it would be based on rumours. When you're spending $2100+ for a body, another $800, for the D800, isn't that much more money to get Pro level build quality and more external control.
Though that extra $800 buys a very nice lens as well (like the new 28mm 1.8G).
Max shutter speed of 1/4000 is odd... not sure what kept them from achieving the 1/8000. It should at least be equal to or better than the D7000 when it comes to the numbers.
Can't wait for some solid reviews to circulate their way around YouTube.
