All I can get

I dunno...
Sounds like Krueger has pretty sweet gig as head honcho for a successful franchise as it is (6th in the Premier League?).
I get the part about stickin' it to the Oilers to settle an old score (Ha Ha Stupid Oilers ™), but wouldn't you think he'd gun for the Flames GM job instead of Head Coach if he's hankerin' to get back into hockey?

I don't think so. If he likes managing, he may as well stay in Southampton where I'm sure he's paid handsomely. I think that if there's any reason to believe he's considering a return to the NHL (and Eric Duhatschek's generally pretty bang-on about this sort of thing) it's because he misses coaching.
I've gotta think he wants to get back into coaching as that's his passion. He's also a highly accomplished motivational speaker. It's in his blood to be teaching and motivating.

Nah. He's no longer close to the organization as he has more inside information on the Kings than the Flames. Krueger was just a dart nothing more. I don't think he will even be a candidate at the end of the day.

Duhatschek even qualified his statements about Krueger by saying he had no inside information, and was just making personal speculation.

Does Krueger's soccer team play 'black and blue' futbol?
Seriously though, I think it would be a good move to hire Krueger as head coach.

Not sure if new news or not, haven't been following this thread. Flames asked for and received permission to interview Canucks Assistant Coach Glen Gulutzan for their head coaching vacancy.

Krugar would be a great coach.
It was a terrible decision by the Oilers to let him go.

I think Krueger would be a great choice as well. Super interesting and intelligent guy.

I really don't think Kruger would come over here. His son plays hockey in Europe. He has deep ties to Europe now. He's friends with the mega-wealthy family who owns Southhampton FC and they are 1 win outside of 4th place in the Premier League. That sounds like the perfect place to be. Top tier association football in Europe is an amazing place and much higher on the sports echelon than NHL hockey in a smaller Canadian market.

And yet we have no idea how much hate he harbors towards the Oilers or how far he's willing to go to exact his revenge.

It certainly sounds like they are looking for a diamond in the rough type of hire. Not sure how I feel about that as sometimes the correct answers are right in front of you staring you in the face (bigger name candidates with past experience or the hot young candidates).

Hate?
The Oilers paid him to go away not have his reputation ruined. He probably writes them a nice Christmas card each year thanking them for the early release from prison.

Coworker mentioned to me this morning that they were saying on the Fan this morning that Mike Yeo was spotted @ YYC
I would assume thats for his interview but I can't find anything online to confirm.
