I kind of hope AV gets a fine for saying "god damn" in the PG presser. Would be funny.
I listened to most of that post game show myself and I didn't hear anything of the sort

Vigneault can suck it. Did Hartley complain about the head shot Stajan took vs. Minnesota postgame?
Exactly my point! Vancouver coach(es) spend so much time working the refs, that sooner or later it catches up to you. While CBA negotiations were going on, I heard the competition? Committee( which included burrows, ironically) was focused on cracking down on diving. How better to crack down, than not call the infractions an official believes are dives?

They mentioned only getting 10 PPs in 5 games, and how that is questionable when some teams have had 9 in a game. Including how Canucks have had 7 in a game.

Thought Stempniak was our best player tonight. Also did anyone else notice that the Safeway score and win guy's name was Harry Wong. Because I laughed for like an hour when I saw that...

He said it. It went something along the lines of.

Interviewer: "Did you use any profanity at the refs?"

AV: "Not a god damn thing. That's all I got to say."

Of course this was after all but blaming the teams play on the flight issue, and on losing the game because of the bench call. Say what you want about the problems we have here..... at least we aren't the diving, blaming, excuse making, pathetic, infantile Canucks organization. I cannot help but question the integrity of any person that can cheer for them.

Haha, the Flames didn't even score on that PP. It was just after the man advantage expired, according to the boxscore.

Nope, you missed the part leading up to it. That was the very tail end of it. He did say "Not a god damned thing" somewhere in that presser. Listened to it on the radio driving home and actually said, "Well that's gonna cost him."

Was referring to the posters claim about the team 1040 radio show whining about the officiating.

thankfully i'm not the only one that thinks it's Charlie Sheen...

Also, just wanted to mention what a class act hudler was for going to the ref to say it was iginla's goal and not his...

I suspect the Canucks really got exposed after their dive fest against LA last year. The officials don't like being embarrassed, and the Canucks make embarrassing the officials part of their game plan. They aren't getting the benefit of the doubt nearly as often anymore.

It's funny how they can use excuses like delay of flight and stuff on this loss.

Flames had a goaltender who played his 2nd NHL game, 2nd.

I thought it was Chris Kattan between Iginla and Sheen.

You must have selective hearing because they absolutely did complain about the officiating.

Difference between talking about it and complaining about it. They were talking about the call on AV a lot and given it was a deciding call and AV's reaction to it, of course they're going to talk about it. Blake or Jeff were not complaining about it, but they did say if what AV said was true, the Canucks have a legit beef and if you believe what AV said to be true, that's absolutely the case. Would you not agree?
