Alain Vigneault said on Sportsnet that he did absolutely nothing wrong when he was penalized, and that he said "threw an elbow". I was two rows behind this jackass and he was spouting off like a drunken sailor and went on a tirade Terry Crisp-style. Totally telling his innocent "woe is me" version to the media, but we were there to hear all of it. Swears, yelling, accosting the refs, etc. What a jackass - he got what he deserved.

Also, the game was great to watch, except I had this dufus in front of me:

Of course, what's a Burrows fan without:

- Baseball cap with flat rim flipped up and sticker/tag not removed;
- Those "earrings" that make a hole in the lobe that looks disgusting;
- Obligatory tattoos on the sideburn / side of the head with celtic designs.

What you didn't see what the words "PRIDE" and "RESPECT" tattooed on his forearms and the multiple rings on his fingers with shiny skulls.

Ugh. A loss would have been too much for me.

Just got back home from the game due to traffic. Home games against Vancouver are almost sickening due to the amount of blue jerseys at the Saddledome and all that stupid "louuuuuing" every time Luongo touches the puck. Where did all of these "fans" come from suddenly? It wasn't like this ten-twelve years ago (unlike Edmonton fans that were always a solid presence here). Either these people have become fans due to Vancouver recent playoff runs or they are in-migrants that moved here from BC during the boom. Just grumbling.

Good win, despite Taylor looking soft and nervous. Me happy.

What a horrific goal Luongo let in on Cammallari for Calgary first goal. Good for the Flames.

Good for Taylor, lots of awful rebounds but the Flames defense did a good job of clearing out the front of the net and getting the pucks out of harms way. Canucks started off good, trailed off hard.

McGrattan entertained the crowd and didn't do anything disrespectful... the ten minute penalty was excessive but it is one of those calls that doesn't make any real difference but allows the refs to get the game under control.

Had to switched the channel after the game when they put that homer Don Taylor and Garry Valk. These bozos are making so much excuses like the travel and weather and BS. I believed i just had enough when they both called the McGrattan and Sensito or whatever his name is, a DRAW. Did these guys watched the same fight as we did? Hmmm...

Anyways awesome game. Danny Taylor was good but not spectacular. Good enough to win and he seems to be there when they needed him. I was impressed with Stajan, Giordano, Stempniak, JayBo playing against the Sedin's twin.

Based on the stitching on the letters, it looks like a counterfeit jersey too.

The negatives......

Taylor looked incredibly shaky and his rebound control was horrid, but he got the win.

Giordano, I don't understand what happened to him.

Brodie, I thought played pretty bad, missed quite a few outlet passes, looks tired out there.

The positives......

McGrattan was a huge presence

Bouwmeester with another stellar game

Baertshi played pretty good at both ends of the ice.

Hudler and cervenka both played well I thought.

Tanguay looks a lot better, and more productive away from Iginla.

So glad they won.

The McGrattan salute was one of the best things I've seen this season, well worth the measly misconduct. I really liked how the Flames played tonight, sure they made mistakes and goaltending was iffy, but they actually played strong for 60 minutes.

Great game I love winning, 1000x when it's against the Canucks.

Taylor gets a pass from me. Made some big saves when he needed too, and 2nd ever NHL game.

Honestly, how many had a loss written down, as soon as they heard he was starting against the Canucks?

I agree, when your 3rd string goalie gets a win against the Canucks, no point in me complaining. Although I was on egg shells every time the Canucks had a chance. I thought for sure it was a goal at the end for the Canucks!

It should have been. Pretty sure it went off a Canuck leg to stay out.

It was a for sure goal...Bouwmeester blocked it with his stick.

Minnesota-Pissed away their best goalie performance of the year, walked away with a point.(deserved zero though)
Colorado-Should never have lost that game given the 3-0 and 4-2 leads.

4 points right there. So important to finish teams off.
Also don't forget the first Colorado game, when we dominated, only to lose on a weak performance by Kipper.
