We won the lottery with Mony, Johnny Hockey, and Bennett in the wings. We don't need to cheer for losses. We're better than that.

They sure don't protect against a busted lip though. Or a broke nose for that matter.

Why aren't you wearing a half shield?

Flames need to figure out how to win faceoffs. That would solve a lot of these third period s*** storms. Huge win though.

I do/did. But surely you must know a visor doesn't do much for the lower half of your face.

If we win the next 3 that puts us at 97 points holding tie breakers against Winnipeg and LA. Might even give us a chance to rest some players.
Imagine how nice it would be going into the LA and Winnipeg games stress free? One can dream right?

I kept yelling "I wish we still had that timeout!"
With all the bodies in front of Hiller I was afraid the puck would hit a player and deflect into the net. They had us hemmed in for ost of the period and all I could think of was.....

So continue on to what I was saying, I understand that advanced stats have there place but this isn't baseball! I get there place but calgary seems to have a system that is working for them. I watch the games and they realize that they realize their weakness and play to it. I think a good team and a good coach can have a system that works for them, A system that can have a percentage to win agains another teams systems? Is this weird to say? That Hartley can understand a system that work against some other systems? I see how they play and they do the exact thing as a team game in and game out.

Hiller needed to win two games down the stretch. He got it done on back to back nights. What a baller. He's also a fool for not keeping that red mask on... It was glorious.
Dallas is greasy. Really around of Monahan and Gaudreau tonight. That shot block and dive combo was killer.
