I think he should at least be in the top 10 but doesn't look like he's going to get enough love.
I do think he's slept on amongst Flame fans, I just think that we have higher potenial forward prospects. I see Dube and Mangipane as very capable middle six forwards for this time in the future.

There are too many prospects.

I voted Rittich again. He transitioned incredibly smoothly to NA, and did better than Gillies with being just 1 year older. Organization thinks highly of him. I think highly of him. Those were good numbers he put up.

Fair enough, I just see a good chance at him being the first D to graduate to the NHL full time since Brodie (not comparing him to Brodie, let's make that perfectly clear) and he's not in the top 10 prospects.

You could say it's due to really good prospect depth and his upside isn't great but I just think he deserves to be there. But i understand it's all in the eye of the beholder and with these prospects it's balancing nhl readiness with potential or what could be.

I went with Dube.
From Eliteprospects, one is listed at 5'10 178 and the other 5'11 180. Is size really a "thing" for Mangiapane but not Dube? Or are the eliteprospects stats way off?

I don't know why but I fancy Pribyl. After Jankowski I feel that Pribyl is the next best nhler to come out of the system. The health issues are concerning though.

If he does, it'll be like found money for the Flames. I could see him being added to the main team late in the season if all goes well.

Went with Kulak. The kid has had a couple cups of coffee at the NHL level already and has shown good progress over the years. He's the front runner for the open spot on the Flames blueline and at 23 years old still has second pairing upside.

Dune looks to have it. I voted for Magiapane i really think that this kid could be a real late 6th round steal of a pick.

I am somewhat surprised at myself for not having yet cast a vote for Kulak. I am really optimistic about him solidifying a spot on the roster this year, and yet it feels like there are a lot of prospects with a lot more upside.

Surprised Klimchuk isn't getting more love.. 3rd in Heat scoring this year behind Janko and Vey and plays a solid 2 way game. Younger than Janko and Shinkaruk and only a year older than eat bread. Seems to fly under the radar ala (Backlund)... nothing fancy just plays the game 200 feet.

I haven't given up on Poirier, kid was one of our best prospects by far till he struggled with alcohol. If he stays clean he has a real shot to be a top 6 RW. Prove me right Emile, make the team out of camp.

Good points but Klimchuk needs to stay healthy and take another step this season.

Poirier and Foo will both be gunning for that RW slot on the Mony-Johnny line in addition to Ferland and whomever else Tre might add to the Flames roster in the next couple of months. Should make for an interesting camp this year!

I don't understand the gap between Ritich and Gilles. I see both as very close prospects. I think gilles went to high based on pedigree (shiny old toy syndrome)

I am pretty surprised that Fox and Foo went ahead of Dube, Klimchuk and Mangiapane. Fox and Foo are long shots to play in the NHL in my books and Dube and Klimchuk are pretty close to locks to be NHL players in my mind. Mangiapane has a higher ceiling than either Fox or Foo, so I would have picked him before those two.

I think people are way too caught up in numbers especially from college players and not looking closely enough at play styles. Fox doesn't play anywhere near an NHL style game and will struggle to preform at the highest level. Foo seems pretty average in all regards.

Well the Flames coach thinks Foo has a chance to make the team out of camp. Doesn't sound like he's a long shot to be an NHLer at all. Maybe your opinion of him is a bit off reality?

I went off-board with Poirier. Next pick is Klimchuk.

Kylington should not be in the Top Ten.
