Default Where to get a good lawnmower

Just bought a property and time to get my first lawnmower.

i read that lawnmower with honda engines are good but it seems like they do not sell them in calgary.

What lawn mowers are you guys using? any difference with bigger wheels at the back?

i'm thinking of getting a self propelled gas lawnmower

I bought a similar model (10 years ago) for our first new home with a huge yard
It always started and cut over 4500 sq/f of grass with no issues.

Front wheel drive, 6.75 Hp & 22 inch cutting path.

You can get a Toro mower with a Honda engine from Home Depot.

I grew up with Toro mowers and wish I bought one when I moved out on my own. I have a Craftsman and it is ok. The build quality on Toro is so much better.

Arn's Equipment has always treated me right.

Authorized Honda dealer, and also one of the few places in town that sells Stihl, if you need a good gas trimmer/blower/chainsaw as well.

Hasn't JD gone downhill the last few years since they started going the Asia route?

I spent a pretty penny on a John Deere, and it has had numerous problems, I would recommend Husqvarna over them.

I got a Lawn Boy mower from EJ Mower a few years ago now and it still works great. I'm not sure if that brand is around though anymore, great mower though.

I believe they may be JD dealer as well.

Does anyone know where I can find a hover mower locally?

Something like this:
http://www.flymo.com/

My yard is "unique" and a small compact electrical hover mower would be just the ticket...

You have the same exact model? how's the engine from Briggs & Stratton? anyone using this engine also? Coincidentally, i was looking at the same model today. budget below $450. The toro one is too high for me.

Costco, the Poulan Pro with the Honda engine. They used to have the ones with the B&S but i like the Honda better.

Well the same model from 9-10 years ago. Same specs and what not.
It still runs great. I just gave it to my Mother in-law as they bought a new house with a much bigger yard.

I have since bought the Ryobi 40 volt lithium mower as the craftsman was too wide to fit through fence and massive window well of our new house. Plus our new yard is tiny compared to our old one.
