I can't believe it. I don't want to believe it.
Left six children. So sad.

I played the hell out of the album he did with STP. I thought he was a really good fit there. Awful news.

I just read this as well - 6 kids from two different women. The TMZ articile indicated Chester and Chris Cornell were good friends.
Apparently Chester was abused as a young boy. Unfortunate for those close to him that Chester felt this was his only escape from his demons.

Friends with Chris Cornell and it's Cornell's birthday. Weird.
RIP, feel pretty brutal for the kids he's leaving behind.

May have been a part of it. Anniversaries of tragic events and special days are hard for those left behind.

Seen them 7 times in concert dating back to Ozzfest 2001. Had ticket to show in October in Vancouver. Chester always brought the energy.
RIP Chester.

I wasn't a big fan but I'm very shocked and saddened by this. I feel terrible for his family and his fans.

He did a very emotional tribute to Chris Cornell on Kimmel.

Given the topic of 'Heavy' (and their body of work overall), I figured as soon as I heard that he died it was a suicide. Such a shame he couldn't find a good place to be.

What is it with all these front men. It has to be a lot harder than anyone realizes.
