Habs save money with moves

Tough to move a guy like Whitney, but we really need the cap space and picked up some nice pieces for the future. Demers can play this year, Barrie is going to be a good one. Andersson has all the makings of another Detroit Swedish miracle!
To Calgary:

Morrow was great for us this year, but there's no money to sign UFAs, so it's good to get something for him.
To Colorado:
Dustin Penner

To Montreal:

Brian Ferlin
Ferlin's an alright prospect and Penner's albatross is off our financial backs. Nichol is available, but could turn out to be a reasonable depth guy if we end up keeping him.
