What are you playing right now and what do you think? What have you played that you would highly recommend or warn people off and for what system? What are you looking forward to the release of?

If you want to do all of it, you won't need to play anything else for a while. The sheer volume of sidequests is immense, and then multiply that by about a half a dozen huge areas.

I hardly use the tactical camera though unless a battle is particularly tough. The live action is more fun.

Sometimes I really, REALLY hate Canada Post. My copy of Bloodborne has been in my city since the 23rd apparently, and I still don't have it. The wait is killing me.

Just pick it up elsewhere and return the stuck copy when it arrives?

My experience with Canada Post tracking is that they don't update anything until it is out for delivery. It probably isn't actually there yet.

This bothers me every spring. How can the Xbox One not have a legit baseball title?

I'm finding the battles in Pillars of Eternity later in the game are rather cumbersome. The pathfinding is quite bad some times and I'll have a heck of a time just trying to move someone to the back at which time most of my party is dead. 4 or 5 seconds micromanaging the party members out of the way and everyone is dead.

Neither console has a legit hockey game.

Because you're buying the wrong console.

Funny thing happened starting a new character in Pillars of Eternity...

Spoiler!

I really like the extra effort they put into this game.

I picked up Dying Light the other day for Xbox One. Really fun so far. A little more serious and dark than Dead Rising 3, plus there is a mix of stumbling zombies, fast zombies, and jacked up "super zombies". Would recommend.

Yeah, thought it was just a typo but twice in a row was kind of weird. They posted a fixed version later.

I played through Vanishing of Ethan Carter. Excellent, excellent game, well worth trying even if you're not generally a fan of the mystery/horror genre. Gorgeous visuals, excellent soundscape, cool story, simple and efficient gameplay that serves the overall experience very well. The game is very much about the story and the experience, so while you need to put some effort into it, it's not exactly hard, and not that long either. Took me two nights to play through it. You could probably do it in a day. It's very focused though, not really anything that's there to just pad the playtime, so at least for me it didn't actually feel that short. It's a game that gives you what it has to offer and knows when to quit, sort of like a good movie.

I'd strongly recommend playing it alone in the dark with headphones

Amazon.ca having a sale on a decent list of pre-order games. Who knows if we will get any E3 sales this year with Futureshop biting the dust.

Things like Uncharted for $56, Xenoblade for $40 and the crazy Halo Collector's edition for $210 (versus $260).

Far Cry 4 is one of the best shooters I've played in a long time. Actually quite surprised at how good it is. Graphics are amazing too.

I agree. It's the first big game I've gotten into on my new PC and it's unreal. I've been taking my time in it which I don't do often in shooter/open world games. I think I'll eventually 100% it. I still have so much story left but I've had fun just taking over outposts and doing side missions

Spent all weekend plating d&d online - Neverwinter. Such a good game and free to play. Reminds me of an upgraded WOW. The gameplay is really fun and it is easy to level.
