FML Cassie Campbell is bad.
As in, "I'd rather listen to Ferraro or Pierre McGuire" bad.

Would anyone be surprised if Claude Noel is done in the next few days? Honestly surprised he's survived this long.

I totally agree. Given the expectations of the team, Winnipeg should go out and find a passionate coach, or a hard nosed one. Noel just seems to lack any type of emotion or passion when the team is in a funk.

What a crazy second period in the Stars-Jets game! There were five goals scored in the period. The Stars were up 2-1 at beginning of the period but now lead 5-3. Jamie Benn and Blake Wheeler each scored two goals in that period.

Nope, wouldn't be surprised in the slightest. The Jets desperately need a shake up, and the coach is always the easiest target.

Boy about once a week that Benn/Seguin line explodes for a bunch of goals and points.

Montoya is in net now for the Jets and it makes no difference. The Stars score three minutes into the third period, 6-3 Stars.

As of right now, 8 out of the top 10 teams in points % are from the West.

Also, 5 of those 8 are from our division.

1. Chicago
2. St. Louis
3. Los Angeles
4. Anaheim
5. Boston
6. San Jose
7. Colorado
8. Pittsburgh
9. Phoenix
10. Vancouver

Cheveldayoff must be drinking the kool aid, or doesn't have the intestinal fortitude to pull the trigger close the Christmas. Regardless, Noel is on borrowed time.
Winnipeg would benefit from a fire and brimstone type of coach, someone like Patrick Roy.

While this is true, Winnipeg isn't exactly underachieving. They are pretty much the definition of mediocre. They have no superstars, their top six is mediocre (Ladd, Little, Wheeler, Kane) their defense core is mediocre (Enstrom, Bogo, Buff) and their goalie (Pavelec) is mediocre. And all those guys still make big bucks.

The Jets are doomed to no-man's land for a very long time. They aren't bad enough to get a top pick, but not good enough to make the playoffs in the West and are tied to their mediocre core for a long time.

Its nice to see them back in the NHL, but even nicer to see them irrelevant just like they always used to be.

You've got to wonder how long Noel has left in Winnipeg. I predict he will be fired tomorrow.
