My goodness what an amazing evening! That Last of Us live event was stunning and we got to hanging out with so many kind people from Naughty Dog and the voice actors.

Still digesting it all along with that extra ending scene. Crazy experience!

My copy should be here today, pretty excited since I never played it on PS3.

the ironic thing is most of the complaints are from people who don't even own the system...so whats the problem? Gelly?

GTA5 is being released on the new consoles and PC....problem?
The irony is that you spent about five times more effort on your defensive fanboy whining than I did in expressing a simple, one-sentence thought.

I have a PS3 copy of this lousy game you can buy from me cheap if you like.

If you own a PS3 and haven't played this game yet you barely qualify as a gamer anyways.

Nope, it was released while I was still in school and couldn't afford to buy any games. Not long after I got a job the remastered version was announced so I decided to wait.

This is the kind of garbage I expect to read on Youtube.

I'm not sure what's more sad.

a) Thinking that a singular game makes you a "true gamer"

or

b) Thinking that being a "gamer" is something iconic or worth identifying as

I never said playing a singular game makes someone a 'true gamer' (which wasn't even my phrasing). Just implied that if someone even cared about games beyond just a casual past-time and owned a PS3, they'd have played The Last of Us.

And what's wrong with identifying as a gamer? Plenty of people are happy to identify as a cinephile, or avid reader. Games have provided me with exceptional entertainment experiences and been a huge part of my life for over twenty years. I have lasting friendships that were forged through a love for games. I'm proud to call myself a gamer.

Identifying by the media you consume is hilarious.

Also, welcome to the THUNDERDOME

You're insinuating that in order to be anything more than a casual gamer you have to have played The Last of Us. I could say the same thing as a PC gamer; that anyone who even cares about games beyond just a casual past time would own a gaming rig in order to play games the way they were meant to be experienced. That comes off just as smug and asinine. Heaven forbid people have tastes different than yours. Maybe when they play a game they actually want to PLAY a game instead of watch an interactive movie.

Twice I have said anyone who owns a PS3. That's pretty drastically different than everyone in the world ever.

Reading comprehension.

I know what you wrote and it doesn't change the message. If someone owns a PS3 and hasn't played The Last of Us that doesn't make them any less of a "gamer" or mean they're some casual. People have different tastes and just because you think it's like the best game ever doesn't make it true.

The best game ever is clearly a toss-up between Super Bomberman and Leisure Suit Larry 3.

I cannot wait until they are ported to the PS4 with improved graphics.

Declaring yourself as a gamer... a false sense of pride when the only people who cares are ... gamers

Gamer used to mean that you played D&D and Squad Leader.

I'm currently running a 3.5 ed game, playing in a 4th ed game, and playing in a Paranoia game, but I still wouldn't call myself a gamer.

I would however say that I really love tabletop RPGs.

I used to run a 3.5 game, but it became too hard for us to find time for it when we had families.

Would like to play Pathfinder.
