dude the winner was a deflection off of bouma's skate?!
Ducks were better because of a total fluke goal?

The ducks defense is terrible with all the injuries. Can't believe our guys just gift wrapped it with stupid penalties.

I watched hockey all day today and I saw a lot worse go uncalled in those games. Yes Hamilton and Brodie need to be smarter but I feel like both of those penalties could have been left alone. Especially the Hamilton one as it has zero effect on the play going on.

Not worth getting fired up they were the better team again. Brodie throw the game away and with the goalie pulled they had 2 legit chances in the slot and passed. Game.
Now SNL is waiting.

Still can't understand why what would have been our third goal was disallowed.
Crosscheck at the end of the game was an incredibly weak call, if that was a Duck it would have been them trying to "entice a penalty".
I'm thinking we need to fire Treliving and hire Theo Epstein. Epstein is the only guy that can break a curse (Red Sox and Cubs).
I hate the Ducks. I hate that there's a different set of rules for them; I hate that they get every freakin' bounce.
That said; all you have to do is score the next goal. That's all you can do. Flames just need to score the next goal and not worry about the games.
|
The Flames might have been the better team, but once again, the Flames made some huge mistakes.
You can't take 2 bad penalties in the last 10 minutes and expect to win the game.

I'm beyond frustrated with the lack of discipline this team is showing.
What was Hamilton thinking we he held on to Perry's stick???
What was Brodie thinking when he gave that extra shot to Kesler???
That's 2 games we should have won but lost due to a lack of discipline!

What does this team need to do to win in that ####ing building? It's beyond ridiculous at this point.

Turn the lights out. Two stupid penalties to end the game. Same old story.
No way they win 4 of 5. Let's get real.
The worst part is that the Ducks (this watered down version) is not a better team.

The better team so far in the series is down 0-2. It happens, but can't happen to think the Anaheim team is in between their ears.
Anaheim D is decimated right now. The series is in Flames players' favor, but to win it the next game CANNOT be a 1 goal game. To clear their heads they need to wipe the mat with the Ducks in game 3 (and beat them by 2 goals in game 4 also). That would set up game 5 to be the night the curse ends, and the last night of hockey in the Honda Center this season.
