3 if the ducks 6 goals have come off a flame stick/skate. Another one was a 3 on 0. Lots of bad puck luck. Hopefully it balances out over a long series. Flames could easily be sitting up 2-0, even with the lack of discipline.

Very frustrating but not like we're being dominated.

You are dilusional. the Flames get screwed every single game by the NHL and officials.

Win 2 at home. Push them to the brink in game #5 and maybe they'll break. But please. Put Lazar in for Bouma please. This team needs more heart. 2.2m a year Bouma doesn't have heart. What happened to Bouma of two years ago that earned him that stupid contract. We need that.

As for reffing, I don't know why so much energy is being wasted on whining. 30 teams deal with it, 30 teams have to be able to play through it.

It's not a curse.
And there he is. Mr Men vs Boys. Doesn't say a peep in the game thread for the first 2.5 periods when we were manhandling the Ducks and should have been up 5-0 instead of being tied 2-2. Then of course he shows up at the end when the Ducks take the lead.

Well you might as well just cheer for the Oilers because this is the core you will be seeing on the Flames for the next 5 years.

I can't understand how Bouma keeps getting dressed when he has been crap all year. Gotta insert Lazar and Freddie, Bartowski was awful as well but who do you insert?

If they hammer the Ducks in game 3 (like 5-2 or something) the tenure of this series changes dramatically. And I see that as very possible.

I'm beginning to think that the Ducks know what to do to get Hamilton to take a dumb penalty.

Default Calgary stupids their way to an idiotic, heartbreaking Game 2 loss

So apparently when the refs did the goal review, they reviewed 2 separate things (puck crossing line and goalie interference) which isn't allowed. They're only allowed one situation at a time. Obviously in that play it was to review the puck placement (obviously in) and THEN if Carlyle challenged they could look and overturn based on interference. Hope they lose their ####ing jobs, morons.

How is Brodie supposed to know they will call that? Rakell did the EXACT same thing to Gaudreau at the end of the game but that wasn't called!! Between the non-goals and penalty calls against, it would just be nice to see what would happen if the Flames got a level playing field from the officials. It hasn't been a level playing field since the Wideman incident.

Can't we be mad at Brodie and Hamilton? Those were two bonehead plays.

I don't know what it is, but chalking it up to being a crappier team makes as much sense as there being a curse. Too many games over too many years with too many different players and coaches to chalk it up to that.

Seriously, though, the Ducks managed to gut out a solid road win... in their own building. I suspect there will, at least, be another chance at taking down the curse, and if the Flames do what they did tonight they've got a better than even chance at it.

Three straight losses to the Ducks where we beat ourselves. When are the Flames going to learn?

We can't keep just feelimg good that they are competitive games. They need to start winning and playing smart.

time to start using the ignore button...

some criticism is fine but jeeez... the way some people act, its like we lost 5-0 in both games...

i'm going to remain optimistic - otherwise whats the damn point of watching a game if you think they are going to lose...
