So... what the hell? That was completely out of left field. I expected a classic Ash last-minute 180 where instead of taking the card he stabs her. Is there a second season happening?

5 actually, that's what Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi want to do. It's fairly obvious that they wrote this season as a single stand-alone story, but had to change it once it actually took off and they were signed for a 2nd season. Though it was still quite fitting for Ash to just take the easy way out

I didnt even know it was back, no fanfare, nothing. I'll have to catch up now, although that does mean I get to binge 3 episodes which will be fun.
