I wonder if he gets sat for a few games, would it wake him up? I think he focuses on the iron man streak a bit too much.

Looking real good tonight against the Oilers lot of jump, joining the rush and scoring a big goal should get this guy going.

didn't someone say during camp that Hartley had the blueliners really working on walking the line laterally? Boumeester did that on his goal, albeit from the half boards.

interesting.

The forwards, mostly the ones that have been here since the start of his tenure, are still missing him all the time coming in late.

Maybe this could be due to Bouw not being as vocal as he should be. A guy like that should be wanting the puck all the time.

The guy is playing some damn good hockey right now, I don't see the point in shuffling it consistently behind the net, when Bouw is free at the point.

I saw Iginla do that 4-5 times last night from the half boards. Bouw was wide open to walk the line and get a good shot with traffic but iginla proceeded to cycle it behind the net and ultimately one of stajan or tanguay got ran around and it was an easy break out for Minnesota.

In conclusion, when you see this guy flying around, give him the puck.

noticed the same thing....Wideman and Brodie are playing really well together and I wish the same would happen with Gio and Jbo...I see its a work in progress though.

Having the defense involved in Hartley s system is awesome

It only gets better when the forwards buy in and back check really well.

I've not seen Bo play this aggressive his entire time here. It's really a treat to watch. If the forwards ever figure things out, he could make a push for ten goals in a shortened season.

If I were to guess, I'd also say that a line of Sven, Hudler and Cervenka will have a habit of finding Bo more often than our other forwards.
