this really makes me think I signed up at the wrong time. Seems like everyone else (if i believe what so many are saying) that joined in July are recycled banned members

I joined in the month of June too but nobody thought I was a returning poster, probably because I made it nice and clear right from the get-go that I was only 15.
If you don't act like banned posters immediately after signing up there's no wrong time to join.
Yeah, 4x4 summed it up best in the gear grinding thread. These guys are dolts. They come back and they immediatly continue spats and beefs with other posters and try to grind axes from bfore they were banned, and think we're stupid enough to believe they're new.
They usually pull out the "I lurked for awhile before signing up" card. Yes people do lurk before signing up, I lurked for 2 years before registering, but the lurkers don't have ongoing spats and heavy critisism of posters and moderation like these twirps do. It's hilarious.

fair enough, I just know that because I stood fast to an opinion and didn't backtrack I had one person say it reminded them of a banned poster. I always thought staying true to your opinions/beliefs was a sign of strong character, but I guess to some its the sign of recycled members.

It's amusing how stupid these people are. Especially the ones that'll toss out the DESS hates dogs/bears, or Jolinar's extension cords, or KC's snotboy story or some other CP inside story from years ago and expect us to believe they've been lurking for five years, and only now decided to join up and post 22 posts per day.
Those losers can take a lesson from DESS. He got banned and decided to return as a contributing member. He still hates dogs, but his opinion is quite welcome in most other threads. Even the dog ones, I guess.
Please just report posts if you don't like a thread. If this user is still here obviously the mods are fine with him/her. Just report the thread and let us take care of it. But the piling on in this thread is quite frankly quite ugly.
