Wow..

Chicago score two goals in 17 seconds to tie it 3-3 and then score their 3rd goal 17 seconds after that... 3 goals in 34 seconds to take the lead 4-3.

Tazer score now -- 5-3

That burst of 3 in 34 reminded me of:

4 goals in 3 mins for chi-town

Chicago only really needs to show up for half a period vs the Avs to win anyway.

The Avalanche got screwed though. The Hawks second goal should've been offsides. Instead of the score remaining 3-1, the Hawks score 4 in 3 minutes and now lead 5-3. Brutal.

Just saw it... absolutely brutal.

They have to get better at these, no consistency all year.

No kidding. Was kind of figuring they'd start slowing down soon with Kane and Toews eating up $21 million of cap space, Hossa now 38 and Keith/Seabrook both north of 30, but nope they just keep on chugging.

Doesn't hurt when you get freebies like Panarin on entry level deals ready to step in and put up point per game numbers. That was like adding a top 2 or 3 draft pick in a year where they won the friggin Stanley Cup.

Gotta hand it to Bowman. Everything he touches seems to turn to gold.

No, it got out of hand late!

I really don't know how the linesmen made the call upholding the good goal on the first goal by Toews. Unless, the determination was that the puck was OFF of Panik's stick, with his feet on the correct side of the Blue Line, as Toews was "tagging up".

That being said, the 'Lanche really have to be mentally tougher, and not just rolling over after the bad call.

That offside call in the Hawks/Av's game was absurd. That's incredibly embarrassing for the NHL to make that call AFTER a review.

Hard not to like Paul Byron. 20 goals is about the same as 30+ in previous era.

Wow. Panik WAY offside on that play before the 1st Toews goal. Totally should've been no goal.

Trouba didn't play again for Winnipeg. He hasn't dressed since his tilt with Bennett a couple of weeks back.

Nick Schmaltz having a good year and John Hayden steps right in and contributes right away. I hate it, but at the same time I love it how they can do this.

The way I understand offside, it's not offside until the attacking team touches the puck. It looks like the attacking Hawk nearest the puck lets it coast in, then touches it after the other Hawk tags up. At worst it's inconclusive and therefore the call on the ice stands, but it looks perfectly onside to me.

No, that's not how offside works. It was clearly offside.
