We listened in at the 2nd intermission, then the third period.

They talked about the trade that just occurred. You can hear the skates and sticks going on the ice. Then a stoppage in play. They still kept commenting about the trade and other things. You can hear the play going on again. It must’ve been well over a minute of game play, to start the third, before ANY play calling was done. Unless you listened to back ground noise, you would have no idea that the period had started.

Couple of color commentators. No one calling the game for those who were driving/listening. Nice people I’m sure; brutal at their job. I much prefer the out of town radio feed over these two, by and large, as then you actually hear what’s happening, not opinions about other things that have nothing to do with the game at hand.

Tuning in with zero expectation only to watch a team determined to perform against all the odds and going all out to win, bringing it nearly every night, is turning out to be a lot of fun.

The worst thing about not making the playoffs, is that the enjoyment ends for another season. And certainly, outside the first month or so, win or lose, I’ve enjoyed watching this team. I love the effort, the culture that is developing and the talent that is being fostered.

Hanifin must be the team’s target in July provided Vegas doesn’t sign him first. If that means Stammer walks then so be it. It’s really not a hard decision, invest in the future or continue to pay production that has long passed its shelf life. JBB must sell parts tomorrow for a brighter future.

They absolutely do. But the 2020 defense wouldn't be good enough to win with this level of goaltending. Not even saying he's been bad tonight, just in general. So it's just, the top priority problem is Vasy figuring out whatever's going on, because adding defensemen won't matter if our goalie remains consistently worse than the other team's goalie.
