my outdoor thermostat showed 8c and I live in the deep south. I guess I have become a delicate little flower.

First ride into work today (I'm getting soft). Beautiful morning for it.

1st flat of the year.

On the bright side, many people stopped/slowed down to make sure I was ok and had everything I needed to change the tube.

Totally over dressed this morning. Ride home should be fantastic.

Anyone ever deal with Calgary Cycle ? They are the Scott Authorized Rep in Calgary and I need service on my new road bike.

I came in at 815 and my phone said 21. I was roasting. That is usually the kind of conditions you don't see in the morning besides those streaks of 30C in July and August.

I had a little windbreaker on today and had to take it off and stuff it in the backpack. So beautiful out.

I'm debating a different commuter bike.

This is just bike porn though. I can stop posting the random bikes if people don't have interest in the design/aesthetics side of cycling.

NICE! We just booked our Moab Trip for October. I think it's my 8th time going. Went for 6 years in a row, then had a 4 year break and did Sedona and Bend. Going to go to Outerbike, and maybe a couple of days in Fruita.

Wow that hat commute home tonight - talk about perfect, the wind was hardly blowing.

I felt like I could have easily ridden 50k tonight.

It is still in the 20's here in the deep se, here is hoping that it is a t-shirt only morning tomorrow.

Anyone else hitting the free breakfast at Eau Claire this morning? I'll be there around 6:45ish.

so for you boys who are off to moab, I am curious as to how you are getting there.

I looked at going a few years ago, and since I would have been going by myself, I was looking at flying and it was not the easiest place to fly to.

I was ultimately able to convince a friend to go to whitefish (not the same, but easy to get to)

Drive. takes us a day and half. Leave on the Friday, get to Great Falls, then finish the drive. When my son was 2 my wife flew to Salt Lake and I drove and met her at the airport. We finished the drive together.

Instead of Whitefish, go to Helena. Better biking overall. Plus they have a free shuttle right from town. If you stay downtown at the holiday inn, you never have to drive once you are there. You walk around the corner, meet the shuttle, and ride. Or you just ride from downtown. You can get to all the trailheads pretty easy.
