I'd suggest some prisons even have 'playgrounds' (out in the 'yard'). So yes, our kids in Evanston definitely deserve a playground at the public elementary school.
Especially nice that they want to build one that is disabled friendly and also better for kids with autism. I'm glad my kid is not disabled or affected with Autism, but I would still appreciate having a playground that is suitable for kids that are.
